皇家粮仓建于明永乐7年，距今已有600年的历史，是京城保存最完好的古粮仓。是承接高级会议、提供演出及餐饮服务的古建场所。
The Imperial Granary constructed in Ming Dynasty (AD1409) boasts a history of 600 years. It combines its cultural heritage with the commercial functions, serving as a prefect venue for food, drink, business conference, performances and all kinds of services and events. The Imperial Granary is now the only ancient architecture that is put in business use.
《说文解字》载：仓，谷藏也，苍黄取而藏之，故谓之仓。
“仓”之原意是将收获后的粮谷进行收藏，
故“仓”是具备收藏功能的一种建筑，并暗喻丰收与贮藏的美好状态。 |
